The Hospital in the Home Society is a recently formed professional body representing Doctors, Nurses & Allied Health working in Hospital in the Home.

The Society is proud to present their 1st Annual Scientific Conference to be held on: Friday 7th November 2008 at the Swiss-Grand Bondi Beach, Sydney.

The theme for the conference is:
Substitution Revolution: Pioneering Care in the Home

The conference has been designed to incorporate the needs of both clinicians and managers of existing, new or proposed HITH or CAPAC (Community Acute and Post Acute Care) services. Program content will reflect the broad spectrum of HITH care provision, including paediatric home care and the multidisciplinary nature of HITH teams, with presentations from doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner in ambulatory care or from an emerging service, you will find something in this excellent program to meet your needs.

ARCHI Innovations in Action Workshops showcase genuine examples of improvement in health service delivery. The Improving Patient and Carer Experience workshop will demonstrate why human experience of health care services is important; and how it can be measured improved.
