Stephen Carbonara

From an Independent Professional Pharmacist Perspective

I am a recently registered pharmacist, but have been working in community pharmacy in the Illawarra for nine years.
I have a BSc(Chem) from Wollongong University and an MPharm from Sydney Uni.
I'm also a member of the PDA (APESMA) and a Member Chartered Chemist of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
My interests lie in furthering future development for the pharmacy profession, particularly concerning individual pharmacists (not necessarily pharmacies).
Hence I support: HMR payments directly to pharmacists; separation of professional duties from pharmacy profits; recognition as healthcare professionals not snake oil peddlers; pharmacist medical certificates; pharmacist prescribing; and provision of future professional services.
